Applications close Friday 23 October

Help run the company Hounslow owns.

Lampton Group runs the services Hounslow relies on every day, and the borough owns every part of it. Applications are now open for Non-Executive Directors who will back our teams, test the evidence and speak up for the people we serve.

A day in Hounslow

You probably didn’t notice us today. That’s rather the point.

Six companies, one borough and one ordinary day.

  1. A Lampton Recycle 360 crew member emptying a wheelie bin into a collection lorry

collected first time, among the highest rates in London

    Lampton Recycle 360

    First thing

Somewhere in Hounslow, a lorry is already working.

Around 330,000 containers a week, from 115,000 homes. The whole fleet has run on hydrotreated vegetable oil since September 2025, cutting CO2 by 90% against diesel.

  2. Two Lampton Greenspace 360 colleagues planting a young pine tree

trees in our parks and open spaces

    Lampton Greenspace 360

    Morning

Someone is looking after the park you walk through.

160 parks and open spaces, 21 nature reserves and 71 play areas. Hounslow Heath and Bedfont Lakes alone cover more than 350 acres.

  3. A Lampton tradesperson painting a window sill in a Hounslow home

of emergency repairs completed within target

    Coalo, Property Services

    Mid-morning

The repair is done by our own tradespeople.

Directly employed trade teams complete around 3,000 repairs a month, roughly 100 a day. Specialists are only brought in for jobs like asbestos removal.

  4. A swimmer mid-stroke in a Lampton Leisure pool

members, up from around 7,000 at launch in 2021

    Lampton Leisure

More than a million visits a year across six centres, so over 2,700 on an average day. Exercise on Referral works with the NHS to use activity to improve health.

  5. A member of the cleaning team operating a scrubber-dryer machine in a changing room

    frontline colleagues

    Cleaning Services, Coalo

    Afternoon

The places you use are clean when you get there.

Council buildings, leisure centres, schools and housing, looked after by a team that joined the Group in September 2020 and has grown steadily since.

  6. The balcony of a Lampton Homes flat, with a view across west London

homes provided and managed across Hounslow

    Lampton Homes

    Evening

Someone comes home to a stable, well-managed place.

Homes across the borough, from established estates to the new development at New Road Triangle in Feltham, completed in December 2024.

Social value

Estimated social value created for Hounslow last year.

Not a promise on a poster. A figure built from employment records, procurement, community programmes and leisure participation.

  • Employment

colleagues are paid at least the Real Living Wage, and 647 of them live in Hounslow.

  • Skills

apprenticeships, alongside 1,000 hours of training and development.

  • Wellbeing

people took part in leisure centre programmes, and colleagues gave 10,000 hours to volunteering.

  • Local economy

spent with local suppliers, keeping value in the borough.

  • Environment

less CO2 from the recycling fleet, and around 95,000 trees looked after.

This is where a good decision becomes someone’s opportunity. Every apprenticeship, every local contract and every child who learns to swim starts with a decision made in a room like this one. A Non-Executive Director helps decide where that value goes next.

In some way, we serve every household in the borough.

Somebody has to hold all of this to account, and ask the difficult questions on behalf of the people it serves. That is what a Non-Executive Director does here.
