Robin Porter was appointed Chair of Lampton Group in May 2025, following a distinguished career in local government and the commercial sector. Most recently Chief Executive of Luton Council, Robin has also held senior leadership roles including Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Transformation. His commercial background includes serving as Chief Operations Officer for London Luton Airport Limited and working in the project finance industry. Earlier in his career, Robin served as a British Army Officer.
Robin brings a proven track record of strategic leadership, transformation and public service delivery. As Chair, he plays a vital role in unifying Lampton Group’s structure, enhancing commercial operations, and maximising the social value delivered to the borough. He is committed to building strong relationships with key stakeholders and supporting a collaborative partnership with Hounslow Council.
